Office space near Bank station at 38 Lombard Street
From the door of 38 Lombard Street, Bank is a five minute walk, Monument three, Cannon Street six and Liverpool Street ten. Two floors of office space near Bank station are available now here, inside a Grade II listed building behind a classical Portland stone facade.
What Bank station connects to
Bank is served by the Central, Northern and Waterloo and City lines and by the Docklands Light Railway, and it has been linked underground to Monument, on the Circle and District lines, since 1933. A capacity upgrade costing around 700 million pounds finished in February 2023. It added a new southbound Northern line platform, a new entrance on Cannon Street and step free access to the Northern line for the first time.
Standing at Bank junction
Nine streets converge at Bank junction and Lombard Street is one of them, which is part of why the walk is as short as it is. The Bank of England has occupied its Threadneedle Street site since 1734. The Royal Exchange faces it across the junction, the third building to stand there, opened by Queen Victoria in 1844 to William Tite's design.
The available floors
The third floor, approximately 1,236 sq ft, is open plan and fits 12 desks, an eight-person meeting room, a phone booth and a tea point. The sixth floor, approximately 801 sq ft, is efficiently L-shaped and has its own private terrace. Both have excellent natural light and are offered CAT A, with a landlord-led fitout included in any deal.
